Steven Kradel is the Chief Technology Officer of Coriell Life Sciences, where he directs the architecture and development of the company’s software platform, products, and online services. Steve has 20 years of broad technology industry experience, including ten years of specialization in access management and application security within the financial and manufacturing sectors.
Steve manages a growing team of software engineers focused on extending Coriell Life Sciences’ platform for pharmacogenomics, population-scale risk assessment, and molecular reporting of infectious diseases in support of the company’s partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific.
GeneDose LIVE, Coriell Life Sciences’ groundbreaking application, was conceived and built by Steve to help advance precision prescribing that is proactive, preventative, and personalized. The application delivers a unified, interactive view of an individual’s pharmacogenomic results integrated with drug pricing, drug interactions, contraindications and FDA warnings, and lifestyle-related risk factors. GeneDose LIVE’s robust tooling allows healthcare providers and pharmacists to investigate a patient’s medication regimen and model custom Medication Action Plans in real-time, enabling them to quickly see the results of potential medication changes before any drugs are prescribed.
Steve joined Coriell Life Sciences in April 2014 after previously having worked at Zetetic LLC, Dow Chemical Company, Rohm and Haas Company, Entology Inc., and Prudential Investments. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
